The Oscilloscope

Section Objective:

  • Know the main functions of an oscilloscope.

Section Abstract:

By finishing section 3, this chapter is almost done. There remains one more idea to cover to have it sealed.

In this section, we take a look at the oscilloscope, an measuring instrument used to track the variation of voltage with respect to time. Although the mathematics behind the lesson is too easy to apply, it is very important to know how to adjust an oscilloscope and what scales to use; especially for higher-level physics classes. Like any other section, we seal this one by an application covering its main points.
